Match Donations

Four times a year, we host a 3-7 day donation challenge during which we seek to raise the next fiscal quarter's budget. Make a pledge to match the gifts we raise so that we can double our fundraising efforts. You can set your match amount at any value above 50% of our goal.

Choose from one of the following options:

Unconditional Matching
You pledge to donate the entire matching amount regardless of the amount we raise. Example: if you pledge to match gifts up to $2,500, you are really pledging to give us $2,500.

Conditional Matching
You pledge to donate the matching amount if we reach our goal, or $150 if we don't meet our goal, whichever is greater. Example: You pledge to match our gifts up to $2,500. If we reach $2,500, then you give us $2,500. If we raise less than $2,500, you will give us $150.

Dollar-for-Dollar
You pledge to match each donation we receive up to an amount you set. Example: You pledge to match our gifts up to $2,500. We raise $1,200, and you give us $1,200.

Gap-Filler
You pledge to make the difference between what we raise and what our goal is or $150, whichever is greater. Example: Our goal is $2,500, but we only raise $1,200. You give us $300.

To match a fundraiser, contact us at 701-630-6838.

Send Letters

Sending letters or email to your supportive friends and family is an intimate way of building community. It signals to your recipients not only the importance of our work to you, but also your understanding of how much that work means to them.

Sending letters is an informal fundraiser because you will not set a goal. We also will not receive any contact information from you.

You can send letters in one (or both) of two ways:

1) By Post: If you send a letter by post, we will provide you with the letter, donation cards, and envelopes. You will write the recipient's name on the letter, sign it, and mail it. You will also pay for postage.

2) By Email: If you choose to send your letter by email, then we will provide you with the email. You will send it to the people you select.
