ways to give
|
anchor our stable future with sustainable giving
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community foundation, we rely upon the generosity of our donors to provide support and financial assistance to some of the most vulnerable members of our society. We manage our funds prudently so that we can ensure that our programs will be around for years to come. With your sustainable gift, we will be able to expand our reach and help more people become better versions of themselves. Sustaining donors can receive public recognition of their gift.
Give with Sustaining Purpose
Sustaining Justice
For $2500 per year or $220 per month, you ensure that we are able to provide three justice grants that year. Your gift will give a transgender or nonbinary individual the ability to start hormone replacement therapy which will assist them in improving their social experiences and psychological health.
|
Sustaining Courage
For $3200 per year or $280 per month, you ensure that we are able to provide three courage grants that year. Your gift will give a transgender or nonbinary individual the ability to fund part of their gender affirming surgery which will allow them to change their gender marker on identification documents, improve the quality of their social experiences, and provide incredible gains to their overall health and wellbeing.

Sustaining Legacy
Gifts over $3201 are divided in two ways: first, 25% of the gift goes toward the general budget for the fiscal year. The remaining 75% will go toward our endowment, thus ensuring a stable future for our programs and grantmaking. Sustaining donors may also leave funds, assets, or stocks in any amount to the foundation as a bequest. The full amount of a bequest will go toward our endowment.

How Sustainable Giving Works
Sustainable gifts can be given in three ways:
Funds should be provided by check or ACH bank transfer as these methods are not subject to the percentage processing fee charged for credit card or debit card transactions. ACH is arranged so that you only have to submit the information once, and our donations processor will start the transfer automatically on the last day of the month. All donations are tax deductible, and you'll receive a receipt after the conclusion of the fiscal year (Jan 1 to Dec 31) which will be sent by January 15, of the next fiscal year.
- One-time: You send us the total amount by January 31.
- 6-month: You send us half of the total amount by June 30 or November 30.
- Monthly: You send us 12 equal payments by the last day of each month.
